quote

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.
You're on your own, and you know what you know.
And you are the one who'll decide where you'll go.
 - Dr. Seuss

Being organized isn’t about being perfect. It’s about finding and using your stuff with a minimum of gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes. It’s about having space that you can comfortably work, play, eat, sleep and live in.

Coaching can be purchased as a package or as individual sessions.

Emotional Clutter:

  • Letting go of the need to be perfect. Life is perfect, but only when you see that it is.
  • Emotional reasons that make it difficult to rid yourself of clutter.
  • Negative self-talk.
  • Overcoming procrastination.
  • Assertive speaking and the ability to say no.
  • Determining what is acceptable to you. Your ideas of “clean” and “organized” are not necessarily someone else’s.
  • Self care. De-cluttering isn’t just about caring for your “stuff”. Its about caring for yourself, too.
  • Stress management.
  • Simplifying.

Back to Individual Sessions

House and Home:

  • The differences between cleaning and organizing.
  • Making de-cluttering decisions. What to keep, throw away, display and store.
  • Making the most of your “prime real estate”.
  • Making it fun for kids to help clean and organize.
  • Meal planning and shopping.
  • Dealing with laundry. Learn the simple trick to be sure a stain never slips past you again!

Back to Individual Sessions

Office:

  • Organizing electronic files.
  • Organizing paper files.
  • Developing systems for incoming mail and bill payments.

Back to Individual Sessions

Time Management:

  • Setting priorities.
  • Scheduling and being realistic about what you’re able to do.

Since we started, I notice I have more control over my thinking. I realize how much my thinking controls my emotions. You've given me perspective and I'm starting to see a shift in my thinking. Shauna Briscoe, B.Sc. Kin., CK, Disability Claims Management Coordinator
