...to my little corner of the World Wide Web.
I am Lisa Sutton, the De-cluttering Diva, and I’m glad you’re here.

question Now, you may be asking yourself what a De-cluttering Diva actually does. When I’m not sitting around sipping beverages with little umbrellas in them, I work with women who feel as if their mental and physical clutter is taking over their lives.

Do you:

  • Feel as if you run around like a chicken with its head cut off and yet at the end of the day you have a hard time figuring out what you’ve actually accomplished?
  • Have a kid who’s mad at you because he’s missing out on a field trip because the permission slip is buried under those piles of papers on your desk?
  • Eat way too much take-out because your kitchen appears to have exploded and you can’t find a pot to cook in?
  • Feel as if no one (including you) is acknowledging all the hard work you do?

Well, that’s where I come in.

My job is to help you:

  • Understand why you’re in the situation you’re in. This isn’t about blame. It’s about figuring out what got you to this place and knowing how to not get there again.
  • Identify where your clutter is. You can’t fix it if you can’t identify it.
  • Create a plan for clearing the clutter, whether it’s physical or emotional.
  • Help you work through that plan without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Recognize and change the negative self-talk going on in your head. Guilt. Raise your hand if you’ve got it. I thought so. You can put your hand down now.
  • Celebrate your accomplishments!

The benefits for you include:

  • More free time to spend doing things you actually like to do. You could spend that time with your kids, you could sleep in, run with the bulls in Pamplona. Whatever lights your fire.
  • More emotional energy to devote to the things that actually matter. Guilt is nothing but mental clutter. Get rid of it.
  • More money. Poor time management skills cost you in a lot of ways. If you’re always late, it could cost you a job promotion and a larger salary. You’ll save on overdue fees by getting bills paid on time and books back to the library. You’ll save money on gas by mapping out a proper route to get your errands done and get your kids to their activities.
  • Earning the official Diva title!

At the end of the very first session, you will have:

  • More knowledge of where some of your clutter is and where it stems from.
  • The beginnings of an action plan.
  • An idea of some of the negative things you’ve been telling yourself and their effects.
  • A warm, fuzzy feeling because you’ll also learn what you’re doing right!

To book your first session, you can call me at 204-231-4251 or fill out the handy form on the Contact page, which sends email directly to me at lisa@declutterdiva.ca.
